The Flour Pot Bakery is a small café chain located in the popular areas of Brighton. The café is known for its fresh daily produce and high-end service. My responsibilities at the café included assisting my manager with his extra workload, keeping fluent communication with the main bakery, managing stock, wastage and end of day banking. As a barista I pushed sales while helping our team with marketing strategies to gain more customers and improve current customers experiences.

The Great Eastern, Bar Supervisor, Brighton
(September 2013-August 2015)

The Great Eastern is a whiskey specialist bar in the center of Brighton; it belongs to a small chain of bars that specialize in different spirits. The Great Eastern is known for its whiskey, events and small cozy atmosphere. I was promoted to the role of supervisor within a few months of starting. My role was not limited to the bar, my work involved: end of day banking, stock management, picking new merchandise and hiring and training new staff members. I thoroughly enjoyed working here and the team I worked with.

Marks and Spencer, Sales Assistant, Beaconsfield
(April 2013-September 2013)

M&S is well-respected brand name that produces a wide range of high quality products. They provide their staff with excellent training and sales innovative schemes. My sales assistant position involved operating the tills, taking and delivering orders, managing stock such as wastage and reductions and interacting with any customers needs or quires.

Cocktail Mixologist, Cloud 23 Hilton Hotel, Manchester
(September 2012- February 2013)

Cloud 23 is one of the most exceptional bars in Manchester with cocktails designed by Gorgeous Group. The role included lots of training about the Hilton Company and Mixology including regular tasting and events to keep ahead of our competitors within the industry. My role was part time making cocktails in a very busy bar environment and helping to make ingredients and supporting the bar backs in the truly demanding times. We served our drinks to the highest standards and customer service to a new height. Our team always maintained a calm and professional disposition while keeping everything clean and running smoothly.

Cocktail Bartender, Revolution Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire
(March 2012 – September 2012)

I would work evenings and weekends; these were the core busiest times at Revolution that involved hard work, team playing and focus to keep everything running. Through my time with the Revolution team I have undertaken a number of exams keeping updated about health and safety and of the well being of customers and staff.

Cocktail Waitress/Receptionist, The Crazy Bear Hotel, Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire
(December 2010 to July 2011)

The Crazy Bear is a five star establishment of fine dining and exquisite decor. Customers require the highest level of customer service. My job included welcoming, guest keeping, booking reservations, and dealing with problems and requests as they occurred all the while serving as a cocktail waitress. As a cocktail waitress I made sure tables were organised, clean and ready for customers. I’d also take orders, cash off bills, recommend wines and foods in the bar and restaurant revealing all The Crazy Bear has to offer.
